WGC Is Now Affiliated With Clonmel Golf Club

We are delighted to announce that Wicklow Golf Club is now affiliated with Clonmel Golf Club ! This will allow members play Clonmel Golf Club free of charge (T&Cs apply). Other benefits include open competition member rates and the possibility of team competitions at all levels.

We are also in discussion with a number of clubs across the country. We will keep you updated on other clubs that are coming on board.

Wicklow Golf Club members can also benefit from free golf at our partner club Glen Golf Club in Scotland.

Due to Government restrictions and Golf Ireland guidelines, the affiliation will not start until we are allowed to travel freely around Ireland and visitors are acceptable.

Terms & Conditions:

The arrangement allows for a maximum of 6 Fourballs, Monday to Thursday, and for a maximum of 4 Fourballs Saturday and Sunday. Tee times are subject to availability and at the discretion of the host club.
Tee times are also subject to availability due to ‘major competitions’
Guests of members will pay member's guest fee.
Reciprocal golf is available to all paid-up male and female playing members, including juniors, seniors and intermediate (but excluding country and overseas members).
Players must have proof of their membership with a Golf Ireland Card to avail of the arrangement.
Visitors from Clonmel Golf Club can play in open competitions if they pay the Wicklow members competition rate.
Club members are not entitled to avail of this arrangement if playing as part of a society or group booking.
Bookings should be max. seven days before playing on competition days so members have first preference on the timesheet.
All bookings have to be made through the golf club secretary or pro-shop.
A record of all members taking part in this arrangement will be kept.
