Thursday’s Order of Merit

The new golfing season starts on April 1st as is Golfer of the Year (GOY) competitions.

This year additionally to our existing GOY competition (weekend competitions from the blue markers), Senior and Super Senior GOY (Thursdays from the white markers), we are introducing a new “Thursday’s Order of Merit“ competition for golfers up to 50 years of age.

It is an Order of Merit competition and points will be awarded for each Thursday’s singles competition played from the white tees, beginning on the first Thursday in April and concluding on the last Thursday in September.

Only handicap qualifying competitions will be eligible for GOY points. For more details please see Men’s Competition Manual.
