Return to Golf - 22nd July

Golf Ireland have updated their Protocols for the safe reintroduction of Golf in the Republic of Ireland.

It will now be permissible for Golf Clubs to reintroduce unmodified flagsticks and hole depths and to return rakes to bunkers.

Local Rules governing the touching of flagsticks and placing in bunkers will be withdrawn with effect from start of play on Friday July 23rd 2021.

Members are advised to familiarise themselves with Rules 13.2 the Flagstick and Rule 12.2 Playing Ball in Bunker.
