Little & Large 2023
The Return of " Little and Large" to Wicklow Golf Club!
One of the most popular and enjoyable events in our club will be taking place on the afternoon of Saturday 26th of August.
Two person teams - one parent/guardian and one junior will play as a team for either 9 or 18 holes.
A €10 entry fee per team covers the cost of golf, refreshments at the start, a BBQ at the finish and prizes for winning teams, best putters,
pin seekers and long drivers!
Please note that:
1) present/former club officers and others will be available to play with juniors who do not have a playing parent guardian,
2) the 4-hole junior competition will happen as usual.
Details:
Arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled tee time for a 3-hole junior putting competition
Tee times from Noon
Foursomes format
50% of combined handicaps
"Little" to tee off on the 1st and all odd numbered holes
"Large” to tee off on all even numbered holes
Closest to the pin (juniors only): 7th, 9th, 11th and 17th
Longest drive (juniors only): 5th (for 9-hole players) and 18th (for 18-hole players - to play a ball specifically for the long drive contest)
