COVID19 Commemeration

The Irish Government has agreed that a National Ceremony of Remembrance and Reflection will take place on 20th March in Dublin. This will represent an opportunity for the nation to pause and reflect, take time to remember all those who have lost their lives during the pandemic, and pay tribute to everyone who has contributed to how we have faced and are facing the challenges together.

More so than ever, Golf Clubs have played a central role in community life over the last two years. In recognition of this, Sport Ireland have asked Golf Clubs to be involved in this National Event.

Wicklow Golf Club will be flying our flag at half mast from March 18th to 20th to remember everyone who has been impacted by this Pandemic. Before commencing your round please take a moment to reflect on this event.
